Founded in 1956 in the small town of San Vito di Leguzzano, near Vicenza, Xacus began as a modest workshop in the attic of the Xoccato family home. From the very beginning, founder Alberto Xoccato set out to create shirts that combined meticulous craftsmanship with refined design.

 

From its evolution in the 1970s from a local craft shop into a respected name in Italy’s fashion industry to its international expansion in the 1980s, Xacus consistently remained committed to innovation. The company focused on refining its production processes and streamlining logistics and distribution. Strategic alliances with some of Italy’s and Britain's most esteemed fabric producers including Cotonificio Albini, Tessitura Monti, and Thomas Mason further reinforced Xacus’s position as a benchmark in premium shirtmaking.

 

By 2010, Xacus had firmly positioned itself as a forward-thinking brand. Embracing digital innovation, sustainable production methods, and a multi-channel retail strategy, the company adapted to the changing needs of a connected world, while staying true to its roots in craftsmanship and quality.

 

Today, Xacus continues to operate from its historic headquarters in San Vito di Leguzzano in the hands of the Xoccato family. Each shirt is a testament to the brand’s philosophy: respect for tradition, pursuit of excellence, and dedication to sustainable innovation. Xacus designs are crafted in-house by a talented team that draws inspiration from both Italian tailoring heritage and contemporary aesthetics.

 

As Xacus moves forward, it remains true to its original mission—creating shirts of the highest quality while honoring the values that have defined the brand for nearly seven decades.
